London Getaway! Disney 100 Exhibition

Winnie the pooh figure

For our anniversary we decided to head to London to have 2 days away as a family. We secured tickets to the ExCel Centre Exhibition Disney 100 and off we went. Staying at the Premier Inn which is next to the Excel Centre, seemed the best choice to avoid using the tube.

Firstly I decided to not use the tube as my son is still quite little, we did debate using the DHL instead (Overground) and parking at Stratford, which is another option if you don’t want to drive into London.

We left the car at the hotel and headed to the ExCel centre with the pram.

Disney 100 has lots of different features from videos, artist pictures, props to costumes and more.

Disney fun for everyone!

When my son saw Winnie The Pooh he couldn’t keep his eyes off it and he got so excited at the different characters and costumes on show. The best part for me had to be seeing the Avengers and Star Wars section. They have the Avengers helmets on display and Captain America’s Shield!

Disney 100 is suitable for all ages from Olaf to Peter Pan all your favourites are found in the exhibition. I found it really interesting seeing behind the magic and learning so much about the start of Disney.

Disney 100 has many photo opportunities, lots to read and many interactive moments to look forward to. Everywhere we looked there was something to do including around the Peter Pan section had the shadows of the characters on the floor, which my son wanted to chase!

Disney 100 has 10 themed galleries to visit including the classics like Snow White to the modern films like Encanto. The exhibition is 20,000 square feet including interactive experiences. Disney 100 has plenty to offer to every age and also includes a gift shop at the end.

If you’re looking for Disney without the park prices It certainly meets all expectations.

We had a truly magical time seeing the different beautiful artwork and vast array of props. Its well worth a visit for any Disney fan!
