Today we took the dogs out to the Forum in Norwich city centre where they got to meet Santa Paws.
I like to scroll through the Forum website from time to time as occasionally they’ll have an event on I don’t want to miss like this.
The Forum is also the library we use which has a really large and separate children’s section. The library has loads of room to let your little one crawl around or to attend a baby class like Bounce and Rhyme.
I collected the dogs from my mums early this morning and we walked into the city centre. When we arrived at the Forum they both got lots of fuss from people. They had a short line to see SantaPaws with a choir singing Christmas carols which was lovely to hear.
I also took the opportunity to dress Theo in his reindeer costume so he could be in it to meet Santa Paws. I think Theo and the dogs had a great time together seeing all the other dogs and getting lots of attention.
The event had lovely volunteers and the RSPCA attended where you could buy dog toys and give donations. The volunteers give out dog treats while the photos are taken and are really helpful at getting the dogs to look at the camera.
I think it is really nice to celebrate pets at Christmas too and I often get the animals a stocking or a toy so they have something to open.
We really enjoyed this and have lots of lovely pictures as a family, it’s a shame we couldn’t bring the cats!
