Blogmas Day 12: Notcutts Garden Centre

Nutcrackers
Christmas trees

Today we headed out at lunchtime to Notcutts, I took the pram with me but didn’t end up using it as I wanted to show Theo everything.

I’d not been to this garden centre before but had heard about it, It has a huge outside space where you can currently get your own Christmas trees. I could smell pine in the car park it was a wonderful smell to arrive at.

Walking through outside you go past the cafe and the Christmas trees you then come across the fruit trees to plant as well as different sheds to buy.

They have a covered outdoor area with lots of different plants, I headed inside with Theo to see what else we could find.

Next, we wandered through and had a look at the pets, Theo enjoyed seeing the birds and the guinea pigs. I found a few gifts for the doggies and continued to look for Christmas ornaments.

In the Christmas section, it is smaller than Sprowston but the actual garden centre is bigger. The Christmas section had a range of ornaments and different lights for outdoor use.

We did see some really cute painted gingerbread houses and light-up lanterns! I enjoyed the Nutcrackers and the different baubles that are available. They have a range of gonk ornaments and a very cute gingerbread man doorstopper.

Theo really enjoys seeing the lights and we spent a bit of time looking at the outdoor light-up animals which he wanted to play with. His favourite is the light-up reindeer and snowman which he kept trying to reach for.

Lastly, we made a quick stop at the cafe before coming home. We only went around for an hour but that was enough to wear him out and I know he had a good time.

Check out my other post to compare the two garden centres.
