This weekend we took a trip over to B&M, I try not to go in often as once I cross the threshold any ounce of willpower leaves my body. I once went in for dog treats and came out with garden furniture.
I made a beeline for the Halloween section and found some very spooky cute decorations available, we ended up getting Halloween sweets to hand out too. This year is my sons first Halloween and we’ve already found him a pumpkin outfit in Primark.
I’m really looking forward to decorating the house and watching my favourite Halloween films, I’ve already started with Halloweentown. For Halloween sweets to pass out we grabbed a few fun bags and we found some eyeball lollies, they have a large variety which are a good price if including gummies and chocolate.
I then went to the gift section, as I’m on maternity leave I’m stretching my money as much as I can which means spreading out the Christmas cost over as many months as I can. They have already got gifts out for Christmas and advent calendars.
One of the reasons I love B&M so much is because they have a diverse range which means it is great for things like stocking fillers and decorations, we actually got matching pj’s for Christmas including our baby boy.
Having looked online at prices I’ve decided to go back to B&M closer to Christmas to get a bag to put the presents in for when I take them round my mothers house. The big bags are really useful for transporting presents and save storage when packing the car.
It is definitely worth even just popping in for a walk around the seasonal aisles. I can’t wait to enjoy cooler days, sipping hot chocolate under a blanket watching films together.
