Christmas shopping has most of us swept off our feet and towing children along is no easy task so here is my Christmas Snacks list for when I’m out Christmas shopping or out doing an activity with the family. Making sure you are eating enough is quite difficult as a mum and most of us tend to skip breakfast so it’s really important to build food into our day.
Here are my festive treats to keep me going when I’m getting peckish:
McDonalds Hot Chocolate
I treated myself the other day to this and it did not disappoint, I rarely drink coffee as I went without it so long in pregnancy that I don’t drink caffeine much anymore. This hot chocolate was so smooth and wasn’t overly rich. I’ve had some hot chocolates and not been able to finish them as they are so thick you may as well have melted actual chocolate. This hot chocolate is smooth and warmed me right up.
Cadburys Roses
Who doesn’t love sitting down with a chocolate box at Christmas?! However, seeing as I feel like we’re running around doing something each day it hasn’t been that relaxing this year! To make up for it I’ve decided to bring a small handful when I go shopping as a mini reward for completing each task as I go.
M&S Percy Pig Festive Helpers
Oh my gosh I am obsessed with Percy Pigs and I can’t get enough of them. With the Christmas range, I am in paradise! Percy Pig festive helpers are the best chewy sweet out there in my opinion. I’m hoping some magically appear in my stocking.
Costa Chocolate wreath
A crunchy chocolate treat, so pretty and crispy this is such a cute festive treat to have when you are out. I’d also recommend dunking it in hot chocolate. Yum.
Pret Gingerbread Latte
I always think Pret have the best Christmas drinks, to me this is where you can get the best gingerbread latte from. If I have time when I’m out shopping or in the city I’ll always try to get a gingerbread latte to go. The spice proportion is just exactly right and I’ve always found good customer service in Pret.
Homemade Christmas Cookies
Check out my previous blogmas post on how to make homemade Christmas cookies. I love to make a big batch of these to have throughout December and they always go well with a cup of tea when you are wanting afternoon tea.
